The historical centre of the Botti team is located in Via Ippodromo in Milan in the splendid courtyard of Villa Bellotta. In the past, all members of the Botti family worked here in Trenno Park being the base of many trainers. Cenaia, on the other hand, was only a branch at that time. But things have changed over time, both in the racing post world and in the set-up of the Botti team. Nowadays, it is here where the foals (mainly) are tamed and where they make their first steps in the training process. 25 people work here and they are led by Alduino Botti with the constant support of Stefano.
The centre is made up of:
- Approximately 70 box stalls
- A walker which holds 9 horses
- 2 indoor courses: one for trotting (approx. 500 metres) and one for walking (approx. 300 metres)
- The Trenno training course (1800m), comprising a flat grass course and a circular sand course (1700m).
- The Maura training course comprising a flat, ovular grass course (1800m) and a concentric sand course (1700m).
- A wood chip course which can be used all year round (1600m)
- A series of indoor and outdoor rings for walking the horses with a bed of limey sand and sand.
- A series of rings for taming the foals.
